Anubis is one of the best combat pals. 130 Attack and a small hitbox is one of the better end game baselines. With bonus damage to Stone Beat and Rockburst it is a stand out in combat.
The partner skill buffs player damage and swaps it to ground.
While super effective against Zoe, Axel and Phase 2 Blazamut Ryu Anubis is still a great party pal against other bosses.

As a base pal Anubis is one of the best Natural Handiwork Lv 4 pals and a good choice for Applied Technique Books in the other work skills.
