Azurobe Cryst gets +5 in each combat stat, trading water swapping for ice compared to the non-variant Azurobe.
Azurobe is not normally used as a normal combat pal and Cryst is no different. Being an ice swap pals means it competes with Icelyn and Frostallion, a tough category where Azurobe Cryst ends up losing out to both.
Icelyn works a lot better than mounted combat, and Frostallions partner skill is a lot better than Azurobe Crysts.
It is not a good base worker.
