Pve Overview.

Bastigor has the highest non legend stat pool in Palworld.
Bastigor also has a small hitbox and strong exclusive attack for many scenarios while resisting the strong dragon attacks meteorain, beam slicer and blast cannon. Bastigor has always been a top option against Xenolord and is a top pick in the Pve Arena.
The Partner Skill is both very strong and a lot of fun together with attacks like glacial impact and rockburst.
Bastigor is a top pick as both a raid army and a party pal carry. Its weakness in Tides of Terraria is being weak to burn and burning pal pods, where water/fire pals work better.

Bastigor is a great base pal with good work skills, but is harder to get in the mid game.
