Jormuntide Ignis – #101B

Pve Overview.

Jormuntide Ignis gains +10 Attack and swaps water for fire.
It also gets a fire damage increase saddle instead of a movespeed buff.
Dragon/Fire is an excellent element combo for the current set of bosses and with 360 total stats and the ability to get Meteorain and Legend Jorumntide Ignis has always been a great combat pal.
It has dropped a bit recently due to the huge hitbox against Moon Lord master, Holy Burst and Wall Splash.
The recent change to burning and pal pods has brought Jormuntide Ignis back against Blazamut Ryu and Xenolord, where water and fire pals that resist dragon are very strong.

As a base pal Jormuntide Ignis is the easiest Lv 4 Kindling Pal to get, but with the buff to drop rates for Applied Technique Books pals like Sootseer and Ghangler Ignis are now options.
