Astegon Mining Guide.
With an Astegon strong enough to one shot ore nodes with lightning strike you can mine enough ore for 1.5 million gold in legendary spheres in less than 30 minutes.
While mining base pals will produce the other materials.
Setup – Heavy:
Max speed mount.
Rank 4 Astegon with Saddle and Lightning Strike skill.
Base pals producing stone/paldium fragment/pal fluids.
3 Flopie.
Black Merchant Farming – Up to 1.8 million Gold/Hour. No Day Limit. Level 40+
Black Marketeers drop 10-15k Gold. This method nets a kill every ~25 seconds.
The video shows the travel distance to get the marketeer to respawn, allowing for repeated kills. This will probably be patched soon [v0.1.5.1]
Setup – Light/Heavy:
Fast Mount.
Enough damage to defeat level 40 black marketeer.
GPH will be heavily dependent on mount and damage.
Note: Black Marketeers also drop Gold Keys.

Since the change to ore nodes / ore mining site this section is updating.
Legendary Sphere Factory 2.0 – 3.4 million per Hour [v0.3.9]
Produces 3.4 Million Gold per hour with 15 base pals.
Setup – Heavy:
Full souls, 4 passive skills, max condensed, buff structures and food buffs.
Passive Skills: Artisan, Serious, Work Slave, Lucky/Noctrunal.
+100-115% Work Speed.

Structures:
Maxing the production queue for these structures will provide materials for 999 Legendary Spheres. Empty the sites and max the work queues. Max pace is once every ~2hours. The bottleneck is Astegon, so you can also wait however many hours you want and queue materials more often afterwards, production will catch up.

Changes since Factory 1.0:
Default changed to 15 pals, down from 20.
Pal Fluids & Bones can be ranched.
Coal replaces wood-charcoal, less assembly lines & 3 less electric Furnace.
4 Refrigerated Crushers replace 10 regular Crushers.
Ore over stone for Paldium via crusher, more Ore Sites, less stone pits.
Noble+Fine furs for 40% more gold.
