[PATCHED] Nail Economics
One of the easiest way to get money is to craft and sell Nails to merchants for 160 gold each. AS OF PATCH 0.1.5.1 the price has been heavily reduced.
A mining base will produce ~50k gold per day if you turn all the ore into Nails. [Mining Base Guide]
8 Node locations convert into 51 200 gold.
Mining all 20 Locations will net 1 068 800 Gold.
Ore Nodes respawn after 24 hours of in game time.

Weight
One ore has a weight of 8, giving 8 Nodes a total weight of 2560.
It is possible to reach this point through player stats.
You can also use a pals Partner Skill to help increase carrying capacity.
Players start at 300 weight capacity and each stat point of gives an added 50.
To reach 2560 weight it is required to put 46 out of 49 skill points into weight.
It is often best to spend one extra point in weight so you can have heat and cold protection and some extra space left over.
Partner Skill
The best pals for increasing weight is Wumpo and Wumpo Botan , adding 120 weight per pal in the party.
Each level of condensation adds +10 weight to the Party Skill, giving a 4 star Wumpo +160 weight bonus.
Use this to reduce the amount of skill points needed.

Resetting Player Stats
If you have already spent your Stat Points it is possible to reset them using the Memory Wiping Medicine.
The Memory Wiping Medicine can be either crafted with a rather expensive recipe at level 43 with the Electric Medicine Workbench.
Note the 30 000 Workload. It will take a level 3 Medicine Production pal 48 minutes of continuous crafting.
Another way to get the Memory Wiping Medicine is a 1% drop chance from Lovander, so if you are in a hurry it might be better to farm it.
