With Astegon you can easily mine 20160 ore per day, which crafts into 1008 Legendary Spheres that sell for 13 366 080 Gold.

The saddle requires level 47 to craft.

Astegon

Patch v0.2 Buffed Astegons mining ability to improve the yield by +100, 110, 130, 160, 200%.

A 4-Star Astegon can clear 8 nodes in 1 Lightning Strike.
Astegons below 4-Stars need 2 Lightning Strikes, a 40s Cooldown added to each mining location.

Astegon will require a Skill Fruit to learn Lightning Strike.
The Astegon saddle requires level 47 to craft.
Some attacks such as Dark Laser do not grant ore, others like Nightmare Ball do.

How to get Astegon:
Since Astegon Saddle requires level 47 there is no rush to getting your pal.
Astegon can be found as a level 48 Alpha Boss inside the Destroyed Mineshaft.

He can also be caught at No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary at level 40-45.
