Expeditions & Rewards
Expeditions unlock after defeating Tower Bosses.
Expeditions have a set duration, required power and require a certain element for 15-20 pals.
Going above the required power gives more rewards, up to x10 power for 1348% maximum rewards including research.
Research gives a reward bonus and reduces expedition time.
For the loot tables expeditions are divided into leveling where the loot without bonuses is highlighted.
End game expeditions highlight the reward rate per hour with research and x10 power.
Some key items worth going for are highlighted.

Expedition Power & Pals
Expedition Power is based on Level, Souls, IVs, Condensing Star Lv and Trust.
Passives do not affect Power.
Alpha Pals get a small power boost.
Max 100 Pals in each Expedition Team.
Leveling
When leveling keeping the pals you capture and condensing is usually enough to do the expeditions as you unlock them. It is not recommended to focus on getting any power bonus at this stage due to the resource requirements of catching so many pals.
Example: Vanwyrm
Vanwyrm can be captured at around level 13 (by Azurobe Boss), 30 (Volcano) and 53 (Feybreak).

Vanwyrm Example – 1 Expedition:
At level 15 – Verdant Hollow
Catch 40 level 13 Vanwyrms or keep 10 level 15 vanwyrms and condense to 1-star.
At level 30 – Blazing Cavern
Catch 31 level 30 Vanwyrms at the Volcano. Use the old Vanwyrms as condense fodder. Capture 80 more level 13 Vanwyrms to condense.
At level 50
Catch 38 level 53 Vanwyrms at Feybreak. Use the old Vanwyrms as condense fodder. Total Captures ~191
Another Option for something like this is Jormuntide Ignis, which can be captured at level 42 at Sanctuary island 2 and then at level 54 on Feybreak.
End Game
Note: Alpha Pals get a small boost, use alpha versions with 100iv for the base Frostallion Noct Team.
End game expeditions need 500 000 Power, 5 000 000 for 1348% Bonus Rewards.
10x Power is around 35 maxed end game pals (Level, Souls, Condense, Trust).
Expedition Power is based on Total Stats. The highest Total Stat pal is Frostallion Noct. Some humans with trust give more Expedition power.
With the 100 pal max per expedition you will need to use 4-star pals to reach x10 power.
Lv 65 4-star: More Breeding/Catching, no Souls or Peaches.
Lv 65 4-star + Souls: Less pals, needs souls grind.
Lv 65 4-star + Souls + Trust: Even less pals, but needs both souls and peaches.
Frostallion Noct Example:
Frostallion Nocts needed for a x10 power end game expedition.

At 3-stars you would need 84, not giving space for the 20 elemental pals.
At 4-stars:
No buffs: 52 per Expedition, 6020 Captures.
Souls: 32 per Expedition, 3761 Captures, 3448 Souls.
Souls + Peaches: 29 per Expedition, 3440 Captures, 3154 Souls, 294 Peaches.
Assuming default settings on drops, 4 bases, 15 base pals.
Time Required:
No Buffs: 6020 Captures with 6 breeding farms, Braloha + 2 Philanthropist is 24 hours of breeding.
Souls: 3761 Captures is 15 hours of breeding and 3448 souls which is 72 Feybreak Predator Pal Clears with Nitemary.
Souls + Peaches: 3440 Captures is 14 hours of breeding. 3154 souls is 67 Feybreak laps. 294 Peaches is 74 Sakurajima Base Laps (4 Bases).
Based on this, it is recommended to hatch the 6020 Frostallion Nocts and Level them without souls or trust. Give 100ivs to the parents and condense the 100iv Pals.
4-10 Base End Game Setup
Frostallion Noct is not a great raid army pal.
A typical end game setup has Raid Army Pals with souls and maybe trust, then filler pals for expeditions.
Example:
Player has 2 armies of 15 pals, maxed out Bastigors and Finsider Ignis.
Bastigor Power: 165100
Finsider Ignis Power: 137525
Frostallion Noct, 4-Star: 97175
5 Million Expedition Power
The 2 armies will reach 4.53 Million Power, and need random utility pals like Nitemary, Smokie, Jellroy, Jelliete.
Each remaining Expedition will need 52 4-Star Frostallion Nocts.
