Raid Army Tierlist
Updated: 2026-03-01
S-Tier: The best overall raid armies, can handle all raid bosses.
A-Tier: Alternatives to S tier, might struggle to survive in some fights.
B-Tier: Great Raid Armies that stand out in certain fights.
C-Tier: Great Raid Armies that can outpeform S-B Tier pals in some fights, but struggle in others.
D-Tier: Good Raid Armies with a weakness to AoE.
E-Tier: Can Survive against all the bosses, but slightly lower DPS than D+.
F-Tier: Great in specific fights but fail against other bosses.

Recent Changes – v0.7.1
Aggro mechanics changed in v0.7.1. Raid Bosses now target the Pal or Player dealing the most damage. With this change the priority for raid armies shifted from surviving to dealing damage.
Beam Slicer and Blast Cannon are very strong against a lot of targets, giving dragon pals a slight power boost.
v0.7.0 removed rescue pals, Pal Pods are no longer an option during raids!
Notes
You get 1 chance to apply an aggregate to Xenolord/Hartalis. It is recommended to not use Ice or Electric attacks in the raid army to ensure you can stun at key moments (Cosmic Meteor). This Includes filler attacks for Pals with Electric/Ice as their main element.
Boss specific notes
Hartalis: Pals that clump the boss will suffer in P2 against Sacred Rain and Air Blade. Jetragon armies are an example of pals that die easily here.
Moon Lord: Still targets random pals, big pals suffer. Dark pals tend to clump up underneath the boss and miss the heart or take heavy aoe damage.
