Raid Bosses
Bellanoir

Bellanoir Libero

Blazamut Ryu

Xenolord

Core Mechanics
Raid Bosses are boss fights in Palworld that occur inside a Players base. The Rewards include an Egg (10% Alpha) of the Boss and IV fruits.
Raid Boss fights are started by placing a Slab in a Summoning Altar (Lv 32 Tech). Each Raid Boss has its own Slab.
Raid Bosses can be fought with the help of base pals. Use raid armies of 15 pals to defeat the bosses and to farm the rewards faster.
The common setup is the Player with Party pals fighting alongside 15 base pals, with Rescue Pals and Pal Pods coming into play in end game raids.
Note: The Player or Party Pal has to damage the boss to get all rewards.
Raids have a 10 minute timer. A raid fight is not lost if the player dies, only if the timer runs out or the Pal Box is destroyed.
Slabs
One Slab is crafted from 4 Slab Fragments. Each boss fight consumes the slab and the summoning altar. You need to have at least one fragment in the inventory to see the option to craft a Slab at the Assembly Line.
Defeating a Raid Boss drops the Ultra Slab for a more difficult fight with better rewards. Blazamut Ryu (Ultra) and Xenolord (Ultra) also drop their own slab. Bellanoir Libero (ultra) does not.
Bellanoir has no ultra fight.
Raid Base
Raid Bosses damage, burn and destroy structures. If no pals or players are in range raid bosses will destroy the Pal Box, ending the raid end resulting in Defeat.
Note: Pal Boxes built on foundations will break if the foundation breaks, ending the fight. Build it on the ground.
A dedicated raid base is often used, or a rotating raid base that has production or breeding when no raids are happening.
Raid Boss Farming Base
An empty base with no as little trees, ores and stones to accidentally pick up as possible. A chest with some items to rebuild the altar for each fight and to repair the Pal Box and Pal Pods.
Item Checklist
- Stone
- Paldium Fragments
- Wood
- Repair Kits
- Food (Optional)
- Pal Pod Materials (Optional)
Raid Bosses
There are 7 Raid Bosses in Palworld, including Ultra variants.
The ultra bosses drop the same eggs as the regular version.

Counter Pals
Any mix of decent pals at level 60 will do the job. The 10 level different does a lot. You can use dragon pals for Phase 1 and swap to Fire pals for phase 2, but that is a bit overkill unless doing the fight early.
Base Pals
- Jormuntide Ignis (Lv 52-56 Feybreak Lava Fields)
- Jetragon
- Paladius
- Necromus
- Frostallion
- Bastigor
At level catching Jormuntide Ignis at Sanctuary 2 and leveling them a little or using fresh Feybreak ones works.
Party Pals

Chillet (Phase 1)
Ragnahawk / Wixen (Phase 2)
4 Gobfins
Use player damage with super effective element swap pals and Gobfins to maximize dps. Scales with player gear.
Knocklem Build:
2 Knocklem + 3 Dumud
Swap between 2 Knocklems for 100% Partner Skill uptime for very high pal dps.

Threats
Nightmare Bloom is Bellanoir Liberos Exclusive attack and it deals heavy damage. Run Away from the boss, the attack tracks sideways.
Apocalypse and Flame Waltz can deal a lot of damage to base pals.
The Phase 2 change almost doubles the boss attack while also increasing the damage it takes. Diamond Rain deals a lot of damage and the new Ice attacks freeze.
