Rayne Syndicate Platform Oil Rig – Level 60
Description
The Rayne Syndicate Platform Oil Rig is a level 60 endgame area introduced with the Feybreak Update on December 23, 2024. Located in the ocean west of Feybreak, this massive offshore platform is home to high-level enemies and the coveted Legendary Schematics.
The rig is heavily guarded by anti-air lasers and missile defenses, and players will need to defeat the powerful new boss, the Attack Chopper, to access the large chest containing Legendary Weapons. In total, 22 chests are scattered throughout the rig, with the big chest locked behind the boss encounter.
This is a challenging zone that demands strong preparation—make sure to bring high-tier gear, well-suited Pals, and ideally, some helpful buffs. The Oil Rig can be raided once every 30 minutes, with the timer starting after all chests have been looted.
The Anti Air Missile Defense can be permanently disabled. The Lasers can be disabled but will respawn. The Lasers are a lot more lethal than on the Lv 55 Oil rig.

When you try to loot the Big Chest the Attack Chopper spawns. The chest is locked until you defeat it. The Attack Chopper has a huge health pool and high damage with its three different weapons.
The recommended way of dealing with the Attack Chopper is to either use cover and a Multi Guided Missile Launcher or a Felbat/Lovander build to out-heal the damage with the lifesteal from their Partner Skills.
With a player attack build and Felbat or Lovander you can stand in the open survive, but the repair bill will be expensive. Just using the cage for cover against the bullets and making an attempt to minimize Bomb and Missile damage is fine when you have a good lifesteal build.
Example:
The tower is a great spot to fight the chopper.
Stand on one of the middle platforms and shoot Homing Missiles around the pillar.

Why Felbat:
The Partner Skill gives lifesteal to both the Pal and the Player.
With splash damage against groups (Rocket Launcher) or Multi Guided/Plasma Cannon vs Chopper you will heal to full each time you shoot.
The Felbats Passives and Actives are not really important, you can leave the Felbat on a rooftop while you clear out the rig.

Why Galeclaw:
Galeclaw lets you zip around the oil rig at great speeds while still being able to shoot weapons and grapples. This allows you to skip a lot of the npcs on the Oil Rig, saving you a lot of total time spent grinding schematics. Build Jump Towers to be able to glide to the oil rig.

Why Gobfin:
All enemies on the Lv 60 Oil Rig have huge health pools. Gobfins with Vanguard and Stronghold Strategist each give the player 30% Attack power and 10% Defense, a huge buff when using Felbat.

The fast travel near the oil rig is in a cold region, but you can swap away from the climate undershirt on the way out to the Oil Rig.
Why no mount?
With Jump Towers there is no need for a mount to reach the Oil Rig. I prefer the added damage and defense from an extra Gobfin. It might take a little longer to get out there but the run itself is a lot easier and the Chopper fight is quicker.
Method
Important: Always have the Mammorest Curry (+25% attack) buff up!
A quick breakdown of the general plan when doing the Lv 60 Oil Rig.
- Glide or Fly out with enough height to spot the big chest from far away.
- Go straight to the big chest. Clear out surrounding NPCs.
- Any NPC that spots you will follow you forever around the Oil Rig. Depending on Big Chest Location a big wave of enemies might reach you mid Chopper fight. Usually the wave is slow and won’t have time to reach you.
- Location A: Wait for the big wave of NPCs before summoning Chopper.
Location B: You might have time to defeat the chopper first, but it can get close.
Location C: Don’t fight here, grapple straight to Location E after summoning the Chopper and fight around the tower there instead.
Location D: Safe to fight, no NPCs can get up there.
Location E: The wave of NPCs might reach you, but you are safe fighting up on the tower platforms. - Fight and Defeat the Chopper.
- Each time you send out your pal the chopper will focus it until you deal damage to it.
- Grapple + Galeclaw around the oil rig, looting all 22 small chests.
- It takes a bit of practice to get good at the grapple techniques, but they are a huge boon for all Palworld activities.
Video Guide: How to Grapple Like a Pro. - Leaving the Felbat/Lovander stuck on a roof somewhere will prevent them from dying and taking away your lifesteal. Sometimes they teleport to the player and manfight a Crusher. Pay attention to their HP bar or bring a revive potion.
- It takes a bit of practice to get good at the grapple techniques, but they are a huge boon for all Palworld activities.
- When all small chests are looted, use the Homeward Thundercloud to teleport back to base.
