Comparison vs Defense
Damage taken from the same attack with different gear loadouts.
| Gear Loadout | Full Resist | Ring +2 & Metal Helmet | Full Defense | Defense Pendant + Metal Helmet |
| Damage Taken | 13 | 63 | 65 | 77 |
| Damage Comparison | 0.17 | 0.82 | 0.84 | 1 |
Full resist gear takes 83% less damage compared to a Metal Helmet + Defense Pendant +2.
Summary
Stacking resistance gear or wearing at least a +2 ring is very good against a specific element. Due to how attack stacking works the minor attack pendant only adds ~1.8-3% attack. Against something like Bjorn or Xenolord bringing 1 or 2 Rings of Resistance +2 can be very strong.
