Pve Overview.

Univolt is one of the best leveling mounts. The saddle is cheap to craft and unlocks at Lv 14.
With Shockwave Lv 7, Lighting Gale Lv 11 and Lightning Streak Lv 22 Univolt is a great pal for combat and catching.
Mass catching with the electrify aggregate, short cooldown and good aoe attacks is very fast. Univolt also has good movespeed stats, if a bit lacking in Stamina. It is well worth it to rush an early Univolt catch at Lv 13-17 or buying it from the Small Settlements Pal Merchant.
Univolt is also an element swap pal for Electric attacks. Beakon is a slightly better option for this but there are not a lot of water bosses. Useful for catching Jormuntide and later Neptilius.

Univolt is not a great base pal by the time you need electricity generation.
