Wixen Noct is another Fire/Dark pal. One of seven Dark element swapping pals without a good target to fight it with. If there was a Neutral boss Wixen Noct would be a great option.
It gets +5 Defense compared to non-variant Wixen, but would probably rather keep the fire swap.

It has the same work skills as Wixen, but gains Nocturnal.
However Wixen is available much earlier, at level 13+ before you can breed for Work Level 4 pals.
