Wixen is a great overall pal all the way from the early game into the very end game.
Available from the lava strip at level 16 it has a great attack stat. The Partner Skill is also very useful, especially when paired with some Grass skill fruits for the double fire damage vs roots. Breeding Wind Edge to a Wixen is also a worthy investment.
Wixen is one of the top end game pals against Bjorn & Bastigor.

As a base pal it is very good. Early Lv 3 Handiwork and Lv 2 Kindling/Transporting is a great base pal until you start breeding better options.
